In this episode the team had all intentions of talking about the new Spider-man PS4 games as well as Spider-man Homecoming and other movies in the lore.  The topic quickly got diverted to talking all things in the MCU and the upcoming predictions for Avengers 4 and Spider-Man’s role going forward. Later in the episode, we get to hear what Lori really thinks of the new super heroes coming into the MCU and Joe’s prediction on the future of the movies.

Will their predictions come true? Do you agree with Lori’s view of the upcoming MCU movies/characters? How likely do you think Joe is correct on where the MCU is going? Comment below.

The season of Super Hero TV shows has come to an end.  The Nerd Caster group has waited long enough and now is the time to give our review on all the Super Hero shows we have watched during the fall/spring.  The guys review Arrow, Flash, DaredDevil, Jessica Jones, Runways, Cloak and Dagger, and more.

The show was supposed to be mainly about Freeform’s Cloak and Dagger, but after getting into it Joe and Justin start talking about all things TV Superheroes.  They don’t seem to agree on what shows are good, but give a listen and  see if you are more of the same shows as Joe or Justin.

As talked about in the show please visit The Geekery  located on Main St. in Matawan NJ.  They are friendly and have an awesome collection of comics, graphic novels, figurines and more. The trio is reunited in “Suns Out Gunn’s Out” to talk about the release of James Gunn from Disney Studios. As most are aware, James Gunn was fired from the Walt Disney Company because of tweets that were rediscovered from 2012 and previous.

For those who don’t know who James Gunn is, he was the director and writer of the first two Guardians of Galaxy movies.  He was a master of putting MCU easter eggs in each one and there even might be some that are still not found to this day. He was also great with fan interaction over social media and teasing upcoming stuff for the next Guardians movie.

Listen in as the boys weigh in on their opinions of weather or not James Gunn should have been let go and a list of the other movies he has worked on in the past.  Do the guys think his past with Troma came up and bit Mr. Gunn on the bum? Listen in to find out.

Listed are the bullet points the boys go over in this episode:

The team gathers to discuss the Netflix true crime documentary series The Staircase.  This episode reviews in detail how the defense and prosecution handled the murder of Kathleen Peterson and may not be suitable for younger listeners.

During the discussion, Joe, Danny and Erica dive deep into the trial of Michael Peterson and discuss and dissect the prosecution and defense testimonies. They break down the episode into two parts.

In part 1, they detail the first eight episodes leading to the end of the trial and then comment if they agree or disagree with the decision that was made by the Jury. They breakdown the evidence from both sides and give opinions on weather or not they should/shouldn’t have been allowed in the case.  Also discussed early on is the Peterson family themselves.

In part 2, the team goes over the re-opening of the case and how the blood spatter analyst caused it.  After they finish discussing the actual documentary, the team gives there opinions on the case, the individuals involved, the justice system, and alternative theories that were not bought up in the documentary.

Some bullet points of topics the team discusses
