This weeks episode starts the New Year.  The guys talk about some of their favorite things from 2018 like the Venom Movie, Infinity War, Friday the 13th game, Smash Brothers Ultimate and more.  They then look ahead to the future and talk about some exciting things that 2019 has to offer, like Kingdom Hearts 3, Avengers: Endgame, and more.  Somewhere in the show, we learn a bit more about Justin and Joe as well.

The episode starts with the two talking about the beer they are currently drinking and Justin’s New Years Eve party.  From there they go into some Friday the 13th, Fallout 76, and Smash Brothers talk, which leads them down a path of talking about the games they enjoyed in 2018.  After they reminisce on some movies and how they think Black Panther was a good movie, but probably won’t win any awards even though it’s nominated.

There is a lot more in this episode so sit back and enjoy all the ramblings of these two nerds.

Nerd Caster is once again joined by Wren from the 8bitbros show to talk CW Shows.  In “Talking Riverdale” the two talk about how Joe is embarrassed to be enjoying Riverdale and how its a guilty pleasure.  While well over 30 and not in the demographic the show is aimed for, the two talk about what they like and dislike about the characters and the overall show itself.  They break down Season 1 and Season 2 and don’t spoil anything for Season 3 since it’s still running.  If you’re a Flash, Riverdale, or Arrow fan, sit back and give a listen to the show.

In this episode, More Netflix: Daredevil, the team talks about season 3 of the show and how they liked it compared to the other seasons.  They go in depth on the characters and give opinions on who they think got better with time and who ultimately fell flat.  The show may be called Daredevil but the team goes in depth about Wilson Fisk and try to break his character down.  Is he the best in the show? Best character in any Netflix Marvel Series?

They team of course, brings it back to Spider-man and the MCU, and talk about thoughts of Kingpin showing up in an MCU movie.  All that and more on this episode of Nerd Caster.
