Star Trek: Discovery's thirteenth episode of the second season gave us its interpretation of the U.S.S. Enterprise bridge for the first time. Once again "fans" of Star Trek lost their collective minds, crying blasphemy at the modern redesign of the classic ship. Chris, once again, had to be talked down from the ledge of Star Trek fandom. We dive deep into why Discovery is in the best tradition of Trek.
Adam Whetston guest hosts in this episode, and you get to hear how we plan an April Fools joke. We actually recorded this BEFORE we recorded the April Fools recording, but we knew it would go out after the joke. Hilarity ensues. Tina and Chris talk about going to see Patton Oswalt at The Peace Center in Greenville, SC. and discuss cloning him. And much to Dan's happiness, Tina and Chris finally started watching Steven Universe!
No, we're not shutting down the podcast (April Fools!). In fact, here is a days-overdue episode where we were on location at Happy Vagabonds Farm where we got to help feed the newest herd of baby goats and catch up with our previous guest, Frankie Dusky. Frankie tells us more about life on the farm as we enjoyed the outdoors on a beautiful March day.
We did the thing 100 times. We'd like to thank all of our past guests and everyone who listened and supported us along the way. We look forward to making many more episodes in the future.

I was trying to decide what our topic for the week would be. In the background, I was playing Catchy Song from The Lego Movie 2 soundtrack. (It was stuck in my head.) Heath arrives, hears the voice of T-Pain, and lo and behold, we found our topic. As a working musician, Heath has some very strong input on the topic of Auto-tune, and Dan has some strong feedback. We continue the conversation with other gimmicks and popular trends in music. This is one of our best discussions.
Ever since The Last Jedi, movie review site Rotten Tomatoes has been a battleground for disaffected moviegoers who want to strike back at Hollywood for supposedly infusing social justice and feminism into their beloved entertainment. There was a coordinated effort to down-vote Black Panther as much as possible, and now they're at it again with Captain Marvel. Chris, Eric, and Dan discuss this weaponization of Rotten Tomatoes as well as the Frozen II teaser trailer.
Once again, back is the incredible comic animal, Johnathan Wheatley from History of Comic Books Podcast. We begin with a discussion of rumors that Disney is considering a "live-action" remake or sequel of The Nightmare Before Christmas. This leads to Babylon 5 vs Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. In the second half of the show, we talk about the end of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Chris and Tina tell how they became Bronies and weirdnesses in MLP canon.
In this episode, we welcome back Johnathan Wheatley of History of Comic Books Podcast as our guest host. This episode is all about our love of Star Trek. We catch up on Season 2 of Star Trek: Discovery and express our love for Gene Roddenberry's creation in general, and where it has taken us since it's 1966 debut.
This episode was recorded on 1/27/2019. In this episode, we try a beer from The Eighth State Brewing Co. called Coffee Tart and discuss the (then) forthcoming Super Bowl. Hear Chris hate dynasties and hear Dan defend them. We then had a chance to talk Dan's niece Erica, including a story about how Dan made a new Star Wars fan. Call or text us 24/7 at (864) 715-9446 and leave us feedback on this or any other episode. We might play or read your message on the show!
