The third season of the American superhero streaming television series Titans premiered on HBO Max on August 12, 2021, and concluded on October 21, 2021, consisting of 13 episodes. It was executive produced by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Walker, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Richard Hatem, with Walker serving as showrunner for the third consecutive season. Developed by Goldsman, Johns, and Berlanti, the series is based on the DC Comics team Teen Titans. Brenton Thwaites, Anna Diop, Teagan Croft, Ryan Potter, Conor Leslie, Curran Walters, Joshua Orpin, Minka Kelly, and Alan Ritchson return to the main cast from the previous season, joined by season 2 guest star Damaris Lewis and series newcomers Savannah Welch and Vincent Kartheiser. It is the final season to feature longtime cast member Ritchson, who exited the series after appearing in the first two seasons.

Amid unprecedented orders for Superman: Son of Kal-El #5, DC Comics has announced that it will be reprinting the title's first four issues in November.

Earlier this month, DC Comics revealed that Superman's son, Jon Kent, will be coming out as bisexual in Superman: Son of Kal-El #5. The news made headlines around the world and inspired what DC calls "unprecedented orders" for the issue. The sales have even surpassed the previously reported 68,000 copies that Superman: Son of Kal-El #1 sold upon its launch in July. To support the renewed interest in the title, DC will now be rushing new printings of the first four issues of the series.

The newly released Nubia & The Amazons #1 by DC Comics has broken new ground, marking the first time Wonder Woman's Amazons welcome a transgender woman into their society in a touching and unforgettable moment.

Nubia's time as Queen of the Amazons is showcased in the new DC series from Stephanie Williams, Vita Ayala, Alitha Martinez, Mark Morales, Emilio Lopez, and Becca Carey. Beginning with a flashback to Nubia's own arrival on Themiscyra, readers are reminded of the Amazons' mystical Well of Souls: a portal through which women who have died as a result of the terror of 'Man's World' are reborn, given new life among the immortal women. The five new sisters born of the Well (who represent the first group of women to come through the well in some time) wake up without knowing who they were, where they are, or what's to come next. And for one, it is a rebirth they have spent their entire life waiting for.

It is being reported that Depp has started a U.K.-based production company. Variety stated:

American actor, producer and director Johnny Depp announced the launch of a new development fund for film and TV projects, headed by his own upstart London-based IN.2 Films and Adolfo Blanco’s A Contracorriente Films in Spain.

IN.2 is Depp’s newly-launched U.K.-based production house, a sister company to his L.A.-based Infinitum Nihil, which is courting original, stage and literature-based scripts for film, stage and television productions “focusing on European sensibility combined with American accessibility,” Depp and his partners explained during a San Sebastian press conference, which started with a crash and a screeching mike.

Depp will be joined by Producers Stephen Deuters (“Minamata”) and Stephen Malit (“Hector”). When discussing the new company, Depp explained it as:

“From the student to the maestro, from the aspiring artists to the yet-knowns, to the well-established great masters across all forms of modern media, IN.2 will build a space where artists can be artists, where they will be free to create those unexpected moments, those happy accidents that contain the propensity to constitute great art and so bring their unique vision to life.”

DC has a brand new Superman after the events of Superman: Son of Kal-El #3. Superman is out of the Justice League for interfering in an international conflict involving a Genesis Fragment in Action Comics #1035. Now, Clark Kent is free to visit WarWorld and free the prisoners that Mongol has captured there. Of course, this creates an issue because there would be no one there to protect the Earth without Superman. However, The Man of Steel has a fix for that, his son Jon Kent. Both father and son have been preparing for this moment for a while. Jon is terrified of his father leaving because of the challenges that await among the stars.

Recently, a trip to the future saw the younger Kryptonian receive news that his father is killed somehow off-planet. But, in this week's issue, Superman puts those fears at ease by telling his son that he doesn't believe in fate, he believes in Jon. The father has all the faith in the world that Earth's new Superman is up to the challenge. Every lesson he's tried to teach Jon and the experiences with other heroes have prepared him for this moment. The two embrace as Superman goes out to help those in need and Jon is going to have to become the Superman he was always going to be.

Johnny Depp went on the record today saying that he is a victim of cancel culture and that “no one is safe” from the movement, calling on people to “stand up” for people facing “injustice”.

“It can be seen as an event in history that lasted for however long it lasted, this cancel culture, this instant rush to judgement based on what essentially amounts to polluted air,” he commented ahead of receiving the honorary Donostia Award at this year’s San Sebastian Film Festival.

“It’s so far out of hand now that I can promise you that no one is safe. Not one of you. No one out that door. No one is safe,” he continued. “It takes one sentence and there’s no more ground, the carpet has been pulled. It’s not just me that this has happened to, it’s happened to a lot of people. This type of thing has happened to women, men. Sadly at a certain point they begin to think that it’s normal. Or that it’s them. When it’s not.”

Bryan Edward Hill is an American author, screenwriter, musician, comic book writer, and graphic designer. 

Hill has acted as a consultant on popular culture, narrative communication, and media consumption to PepsiCo, JP Morgan Chase, M&M Mars, Unilever, and Chiat/Day. Hill has written articles for the Thinktopia: NewIdeas Blog.

On June 27, 2018, Hill took over as writer for Detective Comics, for the DC character Batman, for a five issue arc titled On the Outside. This arc set up for a new volume of Batman and the Outsiders written by Hill, to be released in December 2018, starring Batman, Katana, Black Lightning, Cassandra Cain, and Duke Thomas. 

Bryan has also written for Marvel with titles like What if..? and Fallen Angels..

But for now we are onto HBOmax's Titans talking all seasons and characters including red hood, nightwing, Beast boy and more!
