Nerds With Alcohol Show

This week we say goodbye to Lance Reddick, a man that contributed to so much great nerd content.  We talk about the season finale of Last of Us.  We discuss the first three episodes of The Mandalorian.  We talk a little bit about Prime sending a very late invitation.  We also finish our Best Super Villain bracket.

This week we have a special guest, Mike, join us for the show.  We talk action figures, specifically the He-Man line and some history behind them.  We also discuss the He-Man Netflix show.  We talk some Easter Eggs that were revealed in the D&D Honor Among Theives movie.  We also get into how DC/WB spoiled their own movie in the latest TV spot for Shazam! This week Renee joins us as we celebrate Chris and Renee's 7th wedding anniversary.  We talk Star Wars, Mandalorian season 3 and other topics.  We discuss Star Trek, Discovery ending after season 5 and other topics.  We get into Umbrella Academy season 4 and the announcements of some new faces.  We finish by starting a bracket to pick the Best Superhero Villain of the 21st Century.

Hey everyone.  The Super Bowl was last weekend and talk about the ads, and even more so the trailers, that we saw during the game.  Trailers covered are The Flash, Gurardians of the Galaxy Vol 3, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Fast X, and even Creed III, among others.  We also run through the commercials and talk about some of our favorites.  We discuss the final 3 episodes of The Legend of Vox Machina season 2, and what we expect from the future.  Plus, so much more.

This week we wish congratulations to Viola Davis for getting the EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) with her Grammy win last weekend.  She is only the 18th person to receive this honor.  We also talk about the ending of the Arrowverse with The Flash announcing the end of its run later this year.  We discuss the upcoming History of the World Part II, which will be on Hulu next month.  We briefly talk about the new D&D book coming out.  We spend some time diving into whether you can separate the artist from the art, with the relase of Hogwarts Legacy this week.
