Music
Follow-ups/CorrectionsMarilyn Manson - In a recent interview on the Jesea Lee Show Zoltan Bathory has said that Manson is clean and sober. With Ivan’s alcoholism, this is 5FDP reaching out it would seem.
New Music/VideoHigh on Fire - Cometh the Storm https://youtu.be/UVr9AU9gMfo an odd mix choice with the buried vocals.  Architects - Curse https://youtu.be/ulalrTPVxh0 less aggro than previous architects releases.Enterprise Earth - I, Divine https://youtu.be/ckSrBwvPiQ8 more experimentation on the form of Deathcore.August Burns Red - The Cleansing ft. Will Ramos https://youtu.be/S_rgW12ugNE This is proof that Will needs a more dynamic band behind him. Or that the next Lorna Shore record NEEDS to grow musically.Imminence - Beyond the Pale https://youtu.be/m2GX67jnsOk Just some more amazing Metalcore from Sweden. NBD…Daath - Ascension https://youtu.be/TBsoAuOLx0w Why is it that Georgia has so much excellent metal? Riff heavy and a touch on the meandering side though. Dueling guitar solos is damn good.Kerry King - Residue https://youtu.be/2fALV3X9jB4 Shades of Slayer just like the last single. But did you really expect anything else?Thursday - Application for Release From the Dream https://youtu.be/RlgyNwAq-x8 first song from the band in 13 years. Still don’t like Thursday…

Gaming/Tech
Follow-ups/CorrectionsNintendo - Pretendo, the replacement network now that Nintendo no longer supports the Wii-U or the 3DS online networks, has released an SSL workaround as a replacement for the missing network. Theoretically only a temporary fix as Nintendo could still issue a patch, and also only works with the version 5.5.5 of the firmware.  https://pretendo.network/docs/install/wiiu#sssl MK1 - Ermac is upon us.Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III - B.E.A.S.T. Glove to be $80 promotion for Godzilla X Kong.In game melee weapon that will not accept earned camo skins.  https://boundingintocomics.com/2024/04/09/activision-blizzard-continues-to-prove-itself-as-one-of-the-greediest-studios-in-the-industry-slaps-80-price-tag-on-godzilla-x-kong-b-e-a-s-t-glove-melee-weapon-for-call-of-duty-modern-warfa/ Adobe - The AI revolution just keeps on going! Premiere Pro demo showcased this week shows Object addition/removal, Generative Extend, and Text to Video options. https://youtu.be/6de4akFiNYM Threads - Threads, for its lack of a key feature: direct messaging. Users have been complaining for a while that Threads doesn't have DMs, and Meta is finally testing a solution . But guess what? It's not real DMs.  Instead, you can now message people from Threads, but you still have to use Instagram's inbox to see those messages. Meta says they won't create a separate inbox for Threads because that would be too complicated. So, basically, Threads is still kind of pointless. https://www.engadget.com/meta-is-testing-messaging-capabilities-for-threads-but-dont-call-them-dms-213536876.html LAUSD - Bringing Neal Stephenson’s Diamond Age to lifeWarhammer 40K - Female Custodi’s.

Reg ‘ol NewsFallout 4 - Bethesda is adding a NATIVE version of Fallout 4 to current gen PS5 and Xbox Series consoles. The updated specs aren’t the only bonus for the native jump, there will be additional quest content that deals with the Enclave. Plus bonus customization options for your settlements, as well as some new weapons and power armor variations. Should all be available as of April 25.https://comicbook.com/gaming/news/fallout-4-ps5-xbox-upgrades-new-content/ Invincible - Skybound Entertainment is developing a AAA Invincible game. Said to contribute new stories to the Invincible multiverse… could be a red flag. Should launch on all platforms, though that is not explicitly certain.https://comicbook.com/gaming/news/invincible-video-game-aaa-skybound-crowdfund/

SuggestsMK1 - kinda cheating, but totally what I am going to be playing for the next week.
Comic Books/Books
Reg ‘ol NewsAbsolute DC - DC Comics potentially creating a whole new comic book universe!  It's called Absolute DC, and it sounds like it would be pretty different from anything DC has done before. Writer Scott Snyder would be in charge of the whole thing.  Unlike other times DC has tried to reboot their comics, this new universe would exist alongside the current DC Universe, rather than replacing it. And they wouldn't just be making a few new comics here and there - they'd be remaking their entire comic book line with Absolute DC!https://comicbook.com/comics/news/dc-reportedly-developing-an-ultimate-style-line-with-scott-snyder/ Life of Wolverine - Wolverine's life story being told in a new comic. It discusses Wolverine's long history and complex past. The comic will be called Life of Wolverine and will be released in July. It will explore Wolverine's memories from his childhood in Canada to his time with the X-Men. The comic is being released for Wolverine's 50th anniversary. https://comicbook.com/comics/news/marvel-life-of-wolverine-origin-comic-print/ Jeff Lemire - BOOM! Studios publishing the comic. The series will be Lemire's longest since Sweet Tooth. Lemire will write and illustrate the comic himself. BOOM! Studios editor-in-chief Matt Gagnon is excited to publish the serieshttps://comicbook.com/comics/news/boom-studios-jeff-lemire-new-series-announced-longest-series/

SuggestsThe Peripheral - William Gibson - a 2014 science fiction mystery-thriller novel by William Gibson[2] set in near- and post-apocalyptic versions of the future.[3] The story focuses on a young rural-town American woman who lives in the near future, and on a London publicist who lives 70 years thereafter.

Directed by Josh Cooley (Toy Story 4) Written by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari.https://cosmicbook.news/transformers-one-trailer-on-the-way-chris-hemsworth-scarlett-johansson-more Transformers X G I Joe - CinemaCon brought us many things. Transformers VS G.I. Joe is another one. Too early for a director, but Steven Spielberg is on board as EP.https://cosmicbook.news/transformers-gi-joe-movie

SuggestsEquilibrium - a 2002 American science fiction film[4] written and directed by Kurt Wimmer, and starring Christian Bale, Emily Watson, and Taye Diggs. The film follows Bale as John Preston, an enforcement officer in a future in which feelings and artistic expression are outlawed, and a society where its citizens are forced to take psychoactive drugs to suppress emotion. After accidentally missing a dose, Preston awakens and begins to uncover the suspicious inner workings of the regime governing the totalitarian state.

Confirmations/RefutationsTMNT - Last Ronin movie confirmed.
New RumorsFortnite X Fallout - the next Fortnite crossover seems inevitable. So inevitable that the leak claims it will happen by month’s end.Wolverine - Deadpool movie will have the actual helmet/mask for Logan?Thunderbolts - With CinemaCon quite literally adding an asterisk to the Thunderbolts title, speculation is that the entire team will die at the end of the movie. Caveats carved out for Florence Pugh, and Sebstian Stan potentially.Dead Space 2 - Dead in the water? After what is described as “lackluster sales” of the reboot, EA has reportedly scrapped plans for a sequel to the reboot, and reassigned the team to Battlefield and Iron Man projects.Invincible - Leak purports that Amazon has renewed the animated series through season 5.
SPECULATIONFallout series will only last 3 seasons
