Welcome back, legionnaires! Nick and Martin have been extremely busy lately with real life so this week, we have another one of those saved, prerecorded episodes which we often bank in case of emergencies. In this episode, an in-depth wine conversation and why global warming is actually good for wine drinkers (just kidding of course). Plus, the problems with podcasting platforms, finding good content, a short discussion of the New Mutants trailer, why we haven't discussed Blade Runner 2049, and so much more!

This week Aaron (@AaronSBell) and Ronnie (@Ronbar316) went in a bit of a different direction. They decided to talk about some of their favorite Halloween themed comics. In all actuality, only one of the books they talk about has anything to do with Halloween, they're mostly just some DC horror stories. Once they finish covering those books, they answer some questions from their super awesome and 100% truthful friend Nick (who also had a terrific idea for a future episode that the boys discuss very briefly).

Since Best of the Rest is an independent comics podcast focusing on only the best in indie and alternative publishing, it only makes sense that the guys discuss Fortran, chili, DC and Marvel on this episode. It was supposed to be about Jazz Maynard. I promise.
