  • Ep. 7 - Managing your nervous system as a performing artist

    One thing no one talked to me about until I experienced burn out, severe anxiety and got diagnosed with ADHD is - nervous system regulation. And starting to learn about it made me realize - this is essential knowledge for performers! Sentences like "if you have stage fright you are not made for this job" haunted me for years until I realized what a huge lie it is. Understading your nervous system, respecting it and working with it is basics for everyone, but especially us performers that navigate uncertainty, stress and public exposure every single day.
