The same guy who used to poke at weird cults is now wandering through the world of red pill influencers, fitness bros, and guys actually telling young men to lift weights and stop simping — and instead of admitting that a lot of this stuff is blowing up because legacy media and Hollywood spent years screwing over boys, Theroux basically shrugs and says “yeah it’s highly profitable to be a dick on the internet.” No kidding, Louis. Turns out when you give men some straight talk instead of endless guilt trips, they tune in and the algorithms reward it. He even had to tip-toe around Joe Rogan while trying to paint the whole scene as some dangerous grift. Meanwhile the real grift is Netflix acting like this documentary is brave journalism when it’s just another sad attempt to pathologize masculinity in 2026.
