Network Special

Live from Remulak, it's Network Special! This week on the show Nathan and Zachariah take you deep into the Rankin/Bass vaults to bring you a very special animated version of the famous Dan Aykroyd/Jane Curtin/Laraine Newman sketch from Saturday Night Live. This was a failed pilot that aired as a TV special on NBC. Fortunately, the network was kind enough not to pick it up and helped the writing team of Tom Davis and Al Franken to avoid the embarrassment of having to write more of these miserable scripts. Tune in for mass quantities of laughter!

This week on Network Special we go deep into the Branch Davidian compound of David Koresh in Waco, TX. This movie was made in 1993 WHILE the standoff was happening which gives it a very one-sided take (mostly from the cops' point of view). We go deep into the event and all the hysteria surrounding the madness.

It's the 20th episode of Network Special and we are celebrating by going back to our roots! This week we are taking a ride down south to Hazard County to check out a new dance club owned and operated by 80s heartthrob Scott Baio. In 1983, CBS was excited to announce it's all new cartoon block dedicated to video games and Baio was all too happy to tell kids all about it. Also, we get a look at a reused Kroft puppet and some hijinx courtesy of Boss Hog and Rosco P. Coletrane!
