Two words are repeated seven times in Psalm 30—“You Have”. David is praising God for what He had done for him. The plaque sys, “Prayer changes things,” and “Praise changes things,” both are true. It’s amazing how our whole attitude and whole outlook can be transformed by praising God.

When we have prosperity without humility, it leads to adversity. Because we start to be more concerned with things than we are with God. David found out that his prosperity did not guarantee security. He submitted his will to God’s will by saying “You Have”.

Submitting to God is an exercise in humility. Humble yourself before Him and allow Him to transform your life.
