Never Not Here For You Podcast

Hello! This is over! Here is the “50th” and final episode of ‘Nick vs. the Podcast.’ That title doesn’t reflect the actual number of episodes I recorded, but I’ve started doing a new show called ‘Never Hot Here For You’ and I thought 50 was a nice, neat, imaginary number. This first podcast was a fun experiment that has led to more finely tuned ambitions, and this last episode (from March 16th, 2014) echoes the spirit of a younger me and a younger James. It’s interesting how dated something from only a matter of months ago can seem when you’re 25 and constantly changing. Speaking of which, I must now go because I have already changed so much while writing this lengthy paragraph. Thank you and enjoy!

My friend Kate and I discussed how and why we became friends as well as the fact that our bond has survived so many pivotal moments in our lives.

Kate takes her spiritual identity very seriously, and it was interesting to get her perspective on how committing to her beliefs has impacted her worldview.

There is the love that we have. There is also the love that we want. Kate and I examined both and what each one means to us.

Sometimes, beyond any measure of control, people get in their own way. In this segment, we discuss ways in which a clearly "inefficient" or "detrimental" course of action is sometimes the only foreseeable course of action, especially for people who suffer from some level of anxiety.

The title says it all.

This is the final segment of a conversation I recorded with my friend Elisa Leichty on September 4, 2014. She’s on Twitter (@elisaleichty) and she also has a very cool web presence(Elisa is a talented Austin designer who specializes in logos, branding, and storytelling. She is very good on all counts, so she is someone you should both google and get to know.)

On September 4th, 2014, I chatted with Elisa Leichty. She’s funny, extremely creative, and generally curious about the nature of our existence as human beings (pretty casual stuff). She’s on Twitter (@elisaleichty) and she also has a very cool web presence(Elisa is a talented designer who specializes in logos, branding, and other design services. She is very good on all counts, so she is someone you should both google & get to know.)

On August 26th, 2014 I chatted with my friend Patrick Zimmerman. That chat was recorded. These are the facts.

My friend Patrick and I chatted about the people with whom we're close and how, for anyone, that group of people changes as life progresses.
