In this episode, we stay in the 90s, but veer in a very different direction. Today we are watching another directorial debut, this time from Kevin Smith with his cult classic: Clerks. A movie that launched an entire film universe unto itself. Come for the 90s fashion, stay even though you weren't even supposed to be here today. 

We begin anew after our Oscars series with a 1996 romp through a fictional 1964. Today we watch Tom Hanks in his directorial debut in That Thing You Do!. Let us don our red suits and purchase some record needles in this blast from the past.

So, we decided we needed to react to what we witnessed on Oscar night, so here's a little bonus episode with our thoughts about how everything went down. Let us know what you thought.
