But all parents know the power of being validated by a child given how soul crushingly honest they are. This week Jodie and Celia provide salvation for parents and kids who are hardcore struggling with Common Core math: the phenomenal Kyne! Kyne is the magical Canadian Drag Race contestant who began her drag career while studying mathematics. During the pandemic, she realized that her mathematical prowess multiplied by her fabulousness could be used for good by helping parents and students tacking “new” aka nonsensical math.
