Tamar’s inclusion into Jesus’ genealogy and her messy life demonstrate that the good news of the Gospel is for misfits and sinners, just like us.

Tithing is a Biblical theme of generosity from the very beginning, and it applies to Christians today.

The Samaritan's generosity (with time, treasure, talent) was evidence of his obedience to and love for God.  Our generosity demonstrates the same thing.

Our worship of God springs from a deep understanding of who He is, who we are, and all that He has given us.  The only proper response is profound, lifelong gratitude.

The last 10 years have been a wild ride! God has blessed this church in so many ways, and especially through the generosity of His people.

Jesus was high invitation, high challenge in his interaction with the woman at the well, and it had a transforming effect on her.  Once she believed in Jesus, she shared him with the very people who (rightfully) judged her as sinful.

Paul was there in a moment of crisis, had compassion, and shared Jesus with the jailer.

True repentance and faith brings true cost and true joy, for both the convert and for the evangelist.

Paul understood the culture, connected it to the Gospel, and spoke boldly.  We should, too.

Matthew begins to follow Jesus and immediately invites his friends to meet him.
