NEW BAIL AND SENTENCING REFORM COME INTO EFFECT IN JULY 

Jane is joined by Ari Goldkind, Criminal Defence Lawyer, to discuss bail and sentencing reform legislation that comes into effect on July 15th.

This legislation aims to tighten bail rules, expand reverse-onus requirements for repeat and violent offenders, and introduce tougher consecutive sentences for serious crimes such as auto theft, extortion and retail theft.
