September 8, 2024 | Last Words of a Dying Man | 2 Peter 1:5-11

Sanctification is the idea of being set apart or being made Holy. This is what we recognize as spiritual maturity. Spiritual maturity is the process of becoming more like Jesus through His power at work in us. So, sanctification is the act of the Holy Spirit bringing about spiritual maturity by making us more like Jesus. Peter is going to show us in verses 5-11 that we have a part to play in the process of spiritual maturity.

Scripture says that Jesus is coming again, but it will not be like how he came before. He will come in glory and justice, not humble and lowly. In the second coming, every knee will bow, every tongue confess! Are you living like Jesus is returning in glory?
