There is a story of people who live in a warehouse. It is dreary, but those born in the warehouse don’t know any difference. Until they caught a glimpse through the window. From that point on the people living in the warehouse took a step out to a brand new life. 

The goal of this message is to take a step out of our “warehouse” and explore the meaning of living a new life with Jesus what He calls the “flourishing life”.

The study of Christ. In the month of December we are very focused on Christmas and Jesus’ birth, but we tend to lose the awe that should come with this season. That God, the Creator of the universe chose to come and personally rescue us! Christmas isn’t about the birth of a baby. It’s about the incarnation of God!

What are you desperate for God to do? Are you relying on God to do it or have you become so desperate for the outcome you want that you rely on something else? 

Paul was a devoted man of God, yet he prayed for God to “remove a thorn from his side”. Paul knew something that we all need to know—prayer doesn’t move God, it changes us.
