While addressing dark themes related to war and loss, the creator assures fans that the comic will not become overly grim, preserving the zaniness and beloved chemistry of Throttle, Modo, and Vinnie. The comic's aesthetic will also pay homage to the grungy coolness of the original show, with cover art even referencing Akira. The first issue of this new series is set to be released on July 17, 2024.
