This first episode follows the kickoff of our new series, The Unfolding Mystery, where we trace the threads of Scripture that lead us to Jesus. The temptations of Adam and Jesus lead us to ask God the question: “Do you trust me?”

In the first message of The Unfolding Mystery, Bo Noonan explores how the Bible tells one unified story of God’s redemption, with Jesus at the center. Looking at Adam and Jesus, we see how Adam’s failure to trust God brought sin, shame, and death, while Jesus becomes the true and better Adam who perfectly trusts and obeys the Father. Through Jesus’ temptation in the wilderness, we see Him reverse the failures of Adam and remain faithful where humanity failed. Ultimately, this message challenges us with the same question God has been asking throughout Scripture: Do you trust Me?

In this sermon, Bo Noonan teaches from Ephesians 6:18–24 on the importance of prayer, peace, and perseverance in the life of a believer. As Paul concludes his teaching on the armor of God, we are reminded to remain faithful in prayer, stand firm in every circumstance, and trust God’s peace and strength. This message encourages us to persevere in faith and remain connected to Christ as we face the challenges of life.

In Ephesians 6:14-18, Bo Noonan teaches on the Armor of God and the spiritual battle every believer faces. Through the imagery of the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and sword of the Spirit, we are reminded to stand firm in God’s strength rather than our own. This message encourages us to put on the full armor of God and remain faithful through prayer, truth, faith, and perseverance.

In Ephesians 6:10–13, Bo Noonan teaches us what it means to stand strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Paul reminds believers that our struggle is not ultimately against people, but against spiritual forces of evil. Rather than relying on our own strength, we are called to put on the full armor of God and stand firm. This message challenges us to recognize the spiritual battle around us and faithfully depend on God to remain steadfast.

In Ephesians 6:5–9, Dawson Jones reminds us that our everyday work matters to God. Whether our work feels significant or ordinary, we are called to serve with integrity, excellence, and a heart focused on Christ. Our work is more than a paycheck—it can be an act of worship and a way to honor God and serve others.
