• Creations of God that owe God living service and worship (v.1).

• Thinking vessels of God for life within the will of God (v.2).

• Recipients of God’s grace gifts under a sovereign allotment of faith (v.3).

• Individual functioning local church members (v.4).

• Committed interdependent members of Christ’s local body (v.5).

The next step after professing faith in Christ Jesus is Responsible Church Membership!

Spiritual Gifts or Talents?

Spiritual gifts are particular abilities given to believers in Christ to confirm and build up the body of Christ (1Cor.12:4-7; Rom.1:11).

The term “talent” in scripture is used to denote a unit of weight or money. We use it to refer to a “characteristic feature of a person.”
