Jesus delights to meet real people where they really are. The problem is, we often don't want to be met where we really are. We hide, pretend, and avoid where we really are to avoid the shame, guilt and fear of being truly known. But, where Jesus dwells, shame, fear, and guilt are banished. He meets and dwells with us where we really are, cutting through the facade with deep compassion and healing, allowing us to notice, name and own reality.
