God is a comforter.

Many of you don’t see God this way. You see Him cold, distant and annoyed that you are having a tough time. But God is not like that. He meets us right where we are at!!! With His LOVE and His POWER. His love that comforts us. His power that changes us. And He calls each of us to meet our brothers and sisters right where they are at. Ready to shower upon them GRACE, MERCY and HIS RELENTLESS LOVE.

WE are to REST in Him and in His goodness… Circumstances are irrelevant when it comes to RESTing in God. No matter what you may be facing, REST is a promise that you can walk in 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Its ALWAYS available to you.

REST = to be unmoved, unhinged and in total peace regardless of circumstances.

regardless of how I feel or what I see, choose to BELIEVE…

…God is always good.

…God always has our best in mind.

&

…God is always setting us up to SUCCEED in Him.

I believe our NEW life with God began with a funeral and death of our OLD life who we used to be even though there is still a residue of old habits and patterns.

God took everything that was not right about you—not just your sins. He took all your negativity, lack of peace, anxiety, worries, fears insecurities… everything that was working against you. He took it all away from you, and He put it onto Jesus.

Identity - 
1. Who we are in Christ. (our present position)
2. How we are known in heaven. (our future destiny)

The positive of you He wants to upgrade!!!! (from glory to glory)

The negative of you He wants to invade our space with His grace!

When you see your identity (Who we are in Christ & How we are known in heaven), you’ll see the promises that come with it.

You are no longer performing for God. This Is not an audition to keep Him loving you.

God sees you COMPLETE in Christ. (as a new baby)

He sees you in fullness.

He sees you being made in the image of Jesus.

He sees you from your place of destiny not your place of Insecurity.

ON our journey with God, we travel in this paradox of our strengths and vulnerabilities. Of putting on our New Man and putting off the OLD man.  We are a New creation but at the same time we often struggle with old patterns of thinking and old ways of reacting. Even though we are made new in Christ, the old and the new seem to collide with each other often and cause us to doubt and lose confidence in our relationship with God.

To TRULY enjoy this new life we must see our old man to be dead and no longer identify with who we used to be. So we can declare with confidence - I am dead to the old life, and I am alive to a new life in Christ.
