In episode 6, Dawn of the new era and Dr. J explore the medicine wheel. Different cultures have different ways of creating sacred space. Each deity resides on a different plane or frequency. Depending on where you put your alter, you will have a certain experience with them. We go over Bear, Jaguar, Tara, and experiences Dr. J has had with the Aztec goddess of cleanse and renewal. Many cultures and traditions honor their dead and departed loved ones. When you take the Kourus trance posture, utilized by the royalty of ancient Egypt and Greece, there is a land between waters to greet and get advice from loved ones. Dawn of the New Era shares her recent set of dreams that led her on a mission to the land she grew up on. Blessed with her human guardian Stephanie, she did the ancient pose and created sacred space. A cosmic tree was the hub, where the four directions of the earth meet. It is there, Dawn met with her dad to heal inner child wounds, and change a contract she made with the earth as a little girl. Shamanic teacher Dr. J and Dawn of the Era share their stories of shamanic death. In order to become a shaman, the death experience shatters the ego. This makes it easier to speak from the ‘true voice’ rather than opinion/judgement. A healer, shaman, or spiritual guide must be careful not to come from a place of ego or they will take on the karma of the people seeking help. This is why many psychics and healers become so ill in the practice. Once the shamanic death has transformed the healer, they often have access to working with deities. Susan worked extensively with Tara after her initiation.
