VI:XV-XXIII is the twelfth week of this series. God finds all of us in a deplorable state of depravity, enslaved to sin. When God gloriously saves a sinner, that sinner does not cease to be a slave; he just begins to serve a new master. When we become slaves to grace, we forsake our old lifestyles and live lifestyles of righteousness to the glory of God.

How can one man impact so many? Look at the influence of our celebrities and the impact of our world leaders. It is easy to see how the actions of one impact the lives of many. The sin of Adam impacted the world. So did the death and resurrection of Jesus.

In week nine, we discuss several chain reactions of sanctification that Christians experience in their lives. A realization that a sovereign God has planned this entire process is healthy and rewarding. The gospel gives us hope and gives us a right relationship with Christ.

In week eight, we see Paul continue with his case study of Abraham and specifically, the promises from God that are displayed through Abraham. We can live in assurance that God will always keep his promises. His promise of salvation is initiated and fulfilled by Him.

In week seven, we see Paul begin a case study of Abraham. Paul uses the Old Testament patriarch to demonstrate his point that justification cannot be by works, but is rather by faith alone given graciously by God.

In week six, we learn that the witness for Faith, being received by Faith, and the evidence of Faith plays a major role in God's great redemptive story through the justification of Jesus on the cross.

In week five, we see how Paul continues to build his case that ALL humanity stands condemned before a holy and righteous God. In spite of our depraved hearts, God is faithful to faithless sinners.

In week four, we close out chapter 2 of Romans. We see that Paul is continuing to build a case against humanity detailing our need of Jesus. In this sermon we see that The Law isn’t meant to put us to shame, but to help us realize our need of grace.

In week three, we see that God's judgement is something that many of us don't like to think about, let alone talk about. Ironically though, many of us are quick to issue judgements ourselves. This sermon examines how God's judgements are just and how we can escape the wrathful judgement we all deserve.

In week two, we see the apostle Paul begin to build a case of man's depravity. At the heart of the issue is man's disobedient heart. We often try to treat symptoms instead of the root problem but in this sermon we see the solution for all our sin.
