We all say we need a break. We feel the need for more days off, more vacation time, and an opportunity to unplug from all the things we have going on. The problem is that most people come back from time off still exhausted. What can we do to ensure we return from times of rest truly restored?

Life has a way of piling on more and pressure to accumulate and accomplish. We feel the pull towards getting more, being more, and making more and this can leave us feeling totally exhausted. God provides a remedy of radical resistance to the ways of the world that can truly set us free.

So many of our lives feel out of balance. We are over-committed and exhausted from all of the responsibilities and demands that are placed on us. It can be tempting to feel like this is just the way life is meant to be. God actually offers us a rhythm of life that will not only restore our fatigue but transform our lives.

Life can often drain us. We feel depleted from all our responsibilities, causing a constant state of low-grade restlessness. This does not have to be the way our lives work. There is a way to experience true rest for your soul.

In your own life or the life of others, have you noticed that people don’t seem to love one another that much? In Three Short Years, Jesus chose to love others radically. How? One-way love. What is it? And to live it, what will it require of us?

Every single one of us wants to get to the end of our lives and feel like we fulfilled what we were put on this earth to do. We have many ideas of what this may look like whether it be making a lot of money or achieving some form of success. Jesus has an entirely different approach to what it looks like to fulfill our purpose but it comes with an incredible promise.

We all have moments in life where we wonder “what am I here for?” We struggle to discern what our purpose in life is and what God’s plan might be for us. Jesus perfectly lived into his destiny and through his life we can learn how to fulfill the destiny God has for us.

Life is full of financial risks and rewards. It can be devastating to make a bad financial decision and have to suffer the consequences. It can also be life-changing to experience a financial blessing. Jesus provides a framework for overcoming the anxiety and stress that comes with finances, proving to be the greatest financial bet we can make.

We all experience different stresses in life but financial stress can be truly overwhelming. Not knowing how to keep up with the bills, figuring out an unexpected and expensive emergency, and just keeping up with the cost of living can be a heavy burden. Is it possible that God’s financial principles can set us free from so much of the financial pressure we feel?
