Disappointments are real. They can be small or large. They can also be unexpected, especially when your predictions about the future are proven wrong. But what if the disappointment led to something bigger for your life? Something even more important. Something you wouldn’t of even had faith to ask for.

It is easy to look at other people’s lives and think “why them and not me?” It can feel like other people are experiencing blessings and breakthroughs and we are missing out. Christmas shows us that God has a special favor for each of us and when His favor finds us, it makes all the difference.

So much of life does not go according to plan. There are so many unexpected events and circumstances. Is it possible that some of the most unexpected experiences we have are from God Himself? Is it also possibly they may be some of the greatest opportunities of our lives?

Our lives don’t work like movies. Everything in our life does not all work out together with a nice bow. Many things feel like they will never work out. What if Jesus changes that? What if in Jesus, our lives do not just work out but are brought together in a way we never thought possible?

There are many things that can happen to us in life that feel like a total waste. Relationships break down, jobs don’t work out and other unexpected disappointments. In Jesus, we get a totally different perspective on how we should view the events and circumstances of our lives.

Life is full of challenges and hardships. Add on top of that a slow march towards the end of our lives and we could easily get discouraged. What if there is a totally different way to view our lives that is not only true, but much better? Is there a way we can be encouraged on a daily basis no matter what we face?

There is a metaphor in the Bible that compares children to arrows. What are you aiming for when it comes to your parenting? What target are you trying to hit?

Every couple that has been together for any length of time will go through difficult seasons. Sometimes things can get hard enough where we ask the question: Should we get divorced? How do we know when a relationship is better ended than repaired? What things can we do to attempt to fix a broken relationship?

We have more dating apps and opportunities to meet people than ever before but many people are still frustrated with their experience of trying to find a mate. How can we thrive during our single years and also find the right person for marriage if that is something we desire?

Our culture has made dramatic shifts when it comes to our views of sex in recent years. The questions we must ask is: are we better off because of these shifts? Is it possible that God provides an alternative that can give us the greatest level of satisfaction?
