The worlds good news and God's good news can sometimes intersect. Sometimes they differ. This series will help us to focus on the good news of God and how that changes us. June 23 "The God Who Blesses"- Pastor Sheldon Lacsina It is very easy for us to look at all the bad things that happen in our world, community and family and make an assessment that God is not a good God. If He were a good God, then none of these things would be happening. The truth is, God is the God of good news, we are more prone to focus on the bad rather than the good. We’re going to learn to focus on the God who blesses and how that affects us.

The Father's presence in the home is critical to any upbringing. Yet presence alone doesn't make for a positive influence in the life of his children, it takes participation, and participation leads to great parenting. We're going to learn the principles behind Paul the Apostle's commitment to Timothy, his young protege, as he helps him to be the best he can be while growing and maturing. As a father, we will see how important it is to have the same kind of commitment to the family.

God designed family to function in a certain way. Outside of God’s original design for the family, breaks down the family and each individual to make up their own design, therefore, causing the family to be redesigned according to the liking of each individual.

Pastor Alex will share and explain what the family used to be like and how it has changed so much because of the way the world is leading us today and then to explain how God wants the family to be.

Good judgement is something we learn as we grow and mature. The bible gives us ways to increase in wisdom far beyond our years. As a family, wisdom is beneficial for the success of each person as we learn about our unique capabilities. When we apply godly wisdom as a family, we will encounter fewer mistakes and greater returns. We’re going to learn what the bible says about wisdom as well as take some notes from one of life’s most complex insects...the ant.
