The idea of family was God’s idea. Since the incident in the Garden of Eden, man has thought of new ways of defining the family and has set new “rules” to live by rather than how God created family. Parents put certain rules in place to be a guide in the family. Some rules are good, some are questionable. We’re going to learn what the bible says when it comes to family rules.

Although laws are great for order and organization, it'll never be able to change the heart of a person. One of the things we have a hard time with is letting go. We have a hard time letting go of loved ones. We have a difficult time letting go of a favorite item. Probably the one that is the toughest to do, is letting go when an injustice has taken place. We're going to learn one of the greatest challenges we will ever face, and that's letting go when we have the right for revenge.

Trust is like change in your pocket, do something trustworthy and you have more change in your pocket, do something untrustworthy, and you end up giving change out from your pocket. Keep being untrustworthy, and it won't be long until you have no more change in your pocket to give...it is at that point where people have no more trust in you.
