Government currently has nearly $4 billion of taxpayer money more than they need ($1.5B budgetary balance + $2.4B reserve account). This week Representative Munson introduced legislation that would return all of this back to the taxpayers by October. Under Munson's "Give it Back Act" everyone who had an income tax liability in the past two years would get a $1,000 refund ($2,000 for joint filers).

Rep. Miller is an author on a bill that would require law enforcement officers to be educated on how to properly approach and work with people with autism or who are on the spectrum.

Currently in Minnesota, state-aid road funding is limited to cities with a population over 5,000. Rep. Drazkowski has proposed a bill that would allow for all cities to get the same per capita investment for their roads, rather than limiting it to cities with a population over 5,000. If passed, this bill would be proposed as a constitutional amendment to the people in the 2020 general election.
