It's September, and that means the Back-to-School series of NSTA: The Bus Stop has begun. This week NSTA Executive Director Curt Macysyn welcomes back Patrick Dean, President of Dean Transportation and newly installed NSTA President. Patrick shares his recollections about growing up in student transportation and reflects on the influence of his father, Kellie Dean, and the guidance he received within NSTA as he transitioned into leadership roles. Looking ahead, Curt and Patrick highlight the rapidly changing landscape of student transportation, and they focus the mission of NSTA and supporting the needs of contractors nationwide. Additionally, Patrick provides an inside look at the student transportation landscape in Michigan and Dean Transportation’s longstanding relationship with Michigan State University.
