Freedom to resist your former master and serve Jesus. Don't deceive yourself; just listening to the Word is not enough, be obedient. Life is more than an advert for Christ, it's all about relationship.

The angel appears to the shepherds to inform them of the Good News that the Saviour is born in Bethlehem, which shows us God's grace to the outcast in announcing this first to the shepherds. We can follow the shepherd's example of praising God and telling everyone about Jesus.
