Sometimes Jesus will led you into an experience you never thought you'd do. We might be fine taking the long way around to avoid things, people or situations in our life, but Jesus likes lead us straight through them.

Jesus never leads us in giant leaps; but rather small steps. He won't move us forward until we've obeyed what He's already asked of us. We will walk through the account in Luke to see what Jesus does in our life where He can get to a place with us to say "come follow me".

The joy of 3D is you're not just watching something, you are participating in it, something you can be a part of. The same thing applies to our walk in Christ. The vision that God is unfolding in our midst is not something we are supposed to spectate or watch, but something we are to participate in.

Are there levels of Christianity? Many of us live like there are. Jesus asks us in John; are we going to be a fan? Or a follower.

Do we equate following Jesus to going to church? The truth is you can go to church and still not follow Jesus. The two are combined, but they are not synonymous.

Stop going to church; start being the church.

Throughout scripture we see that Jesus had zero tolerance for hypocrisy, but had unlimited grace for the honest sinner. How can we be a people who are humble and honest with Him, knowing our desperate need of a savior?

In Revelation 2, we see Jesus speak to the Church in Ephesus about their great deeds, but that He has one thing against them; they have forsaken their first love. We can be busy doing the right things and still neglect the most important thing. How do we get back on track?

In Revelation 3, John writes to the church in Laodicea about the perils of believing they were okay in the Lord, but in reality being lukewarm. Distractions and self-sufficiency can cause us to follow in their footsteps. So how do we get over spiritual "meh" and reignite a spiritual fire?

Helen Keller once said, "Far worse than being blind, is to live without vision". In the beginning of a New Year, far better to pursue a visionary plan for our lives than to let life drift.

Another year is closing. Christmas is in the rear-view mirror. We are conditioned by culture to look ahead- make resolutions! Most of us can't recall what we resolved last year at this time for one reason: Life happened!
