Why did Jesus need to go through Samaria? Jews didn't go there? But what if there was one need? One need worth breaking Jewish cultural norms? One soul that was hungry, that Jesus needed to get to?
Love!
Jesus said "in my Father's house is many mansions" he also said "I go to prepare place for you." The gospel was never meant to be owned, the truth does not belong to us, but was meant to save us, THEN work through us to save others. Will there be empty mansions in Heaven, places prepared for those the church never bothered to reach? We pray this message inspires and encourages you not only embrace the truth, but use it to fulfill the mission to save the lost!
What if we told you that the most honest believer in your Bible is a man with no name? What if the reason we miss our deliverance from the heavy burdens that seem to crush us under their weight is that we haven't learned to be open and honest with God about where we are? What if we told you today that not only can God handle your honesty, but he welcomes it. This message was followed by a powerful move of God as the Holy Ghost spoke to our hearts. Our prayer is that this message will bring whatever it is that you need from God. But it's going to require you trust him enough to come to him completely broken.
We should all tell the truth right? Isn't that what we've been raised to believe? What if right now, in our current culture, truth is more important than maybe ever before? Why you may ask? Because never has there been a time like this when truth has become so relative and taken such a backseat to both feelings and opinions that it's become cheap to some.
Guest speaker Rev. Greg Hamm brings us a very timely message during the New Life Christmas service.
2020 has been a year of mind-blowing events. Distractions everywhere, so many voices and information, enough to simply wear people out. What if it was all by design? People are looking for answers, and we find it in Hebrews 12:1-2 "Looking Unto Jesus"!
In tonight's Bible study Pastor Puckett give a good general overview of why we need prayer and why it's absolutely essential to a Christian's life.
When was the last time you prayed after the will of God? The last time you sought after his Kingdom instead of your own? We often mistake the will of God as being a ministry calling, but it's much more. The baptism of the Holy Ghost is not only vitally important to our salvation, it is the power the EMPOWERS us to live in and after the will of God, but there must be an earnest desire and hunger on our part!
Guest Minister, Rev. Rey Echavaria brings a heartfelt word to the church this past Sunday.
