Jesus said in Matthew 24, that they that shall endure to the very end, the same shall be saved. Friends, we have a lot to endure right now in the world. The Apostle Paul instructs us to put on the WHOLE armor of God so that we may stand in the day of battle against the enemy.
In this message, we use a historical record to show what can happen when you fail to take your enemy seriously and prepare for war. Also, each piece of the armor of God, how it's used, and what we must do to apply it to our lives.
In this chaotic time, people are looking for a "return to normalcy". We've watched as our country has elevated politics to become the golden calf of our time.
Paul asked the Galatian church, "you did run well, but what did hinder you?" When we begin our life serving God, the Bible compares it to a race. When we first start, we are full of fire, zeal and passion for the things of God. But over time, there are things that that get in the way. Things the enemy purposely puts before us to hinder us, to slow us down and to prevent us from finishing. We need to pray now more than ever, that God would reveal to us the things that hinder us, the things that distract us and the things that keep us from doing the will and work of God!
Above all else, we must finish this race!!
"I don't feel like praising God tonight." "I don't really feel like worshipping." Sound familiar?
First, we want to give honor to Pastor Ken Gurley for his morning devotional that inspired this message.
The difference is the outcomes, both in the here and now and in eternity. Today we give you 5 things that both God and Satan want for us, and we pray this blesses and strengthens you greatly!
How important is doctrine in the church today? Some say doctrine is divisive. Some say it's not important. Some say we should only celebrate what we have in common in Christianity. So, how important is doctrine? How important is true, Apostolic doctrine?
2020, what we say? Has it worked out like any of us imagined? Did we accomplish all the things we thought we would do at the end of 2019? Has the story gone the way we thought?
"Led of the Spirit" is a term we often hear in Christianity. What does it really mean to be led of the Spirit? What must a person have to be "Spirit led"?
Proverbs 14:12 states there is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
We say we've forgiven. We say it's in the past, that we've put it behind us, but have we? Masks are something people wear to appear as one thing, while concealing the truth beneath. Often times, this mask is one we don't even know we are donning.
