We proudly present to you Germania Rodriguez, a journalist that has written for Caracas Chronicles and The Independent, and currently works on an online independent news channel out of Youtube called "Factores de Poder." She is a Venezuelan immigrant, daughter of the great Patricia Poleo (one of the journalists who was exiled from Venezuela for being critical of the Chavez administration) and offers great insight as a liberal democrat that is anti-socialism and openly critical of the Bernie Sanders campaign and this movement towards Democratic Socialism. We unpack her perspective and explore the different causes and consequences of an entire generation being captivated by the extremes on the left and on the right of the political spectrum.
