We missed our time together this morning because of Hurricane Henri. However, to keep us all up to date in our Hebrews study, we recorded this teaching from Pastor Doug's basement. We hope it blesses you!

As people of faith we come from a long tradition of great men and women. In Hebrews 11 we are inspired by our heritage to continue running the race of faith. We may not see where we are going, but we know we are not going back!

This morning is the punch line of our study in Hebrews. After proving that Jesus is the merciful and faithful priest that we all have been looking for, the pastor of Hebrews tells us how it applies to our lives.

Why did God demand blood as payment for sin? Why not something else that is valuable? If you have ever thought the Bible was gruesome with its sacrifices, you will find this explanation really helpful.

There are two ways to hear the challenge of perseverance in Hebrews: either through the ears of religion or the ears of relationship. As we study chapter 8 we will discover that there is one clear, better choice.

In today's teaching we dig into Hebrews 6 and tackle the tough question of what happens if someone receives Jesus and then falls away. Warning: this message might make you a bit uncomfortable, but in the end you will hear God's awesome heart come through for you.
