New Seeds

This is the live recording of the December 2017 edition of New Seeds. Once a year we rip up the rule book and say thanks to everyone at myhouseyourhouse.net for being the platform that enables me to broadcast New Seeds, a predominately down to mid-tempo show gorging on all things electronic.

Since it's party season, it's the perfect excuse to dive into the right-hand side of my record shelves, the "house / party" sections. So I hope you enjoy the (almost) two hour non-stop mix of, in my view, electronic bangers.

A very merry Christmas to you and a super prosperous 2018. See you in January for more electronic goodness.

This is it, my 4 hour set from the home of amazing music in London: Spiritland. It's wall to wall New Seeds goodness; firm favourites from the last 18 months of radio shows with a few brand new (at the time) tracks.

Big thanks to Ian and the Spiritland team for having me and here's to next time! Big thanks to all the support to the New Seeds radio show, myhouseyourhouse.net, all the guest DJ's and of course, you, the listener. I hope you dig it!

This is the live recording of the November 2017 edition of New Seeds, the show dedicated to electronic and electronically inspired and influenced music.

It includes a super-special guest mix from Stillhead. It really compliments the season, creating a dark, evolving atmosphere with brilliant fresh highlights. It's a massive headphone melter selection including a brand new unreleased track from his forthcoming album "Copenhagen".

Make sure you heed his words, check out and sign-up on his website: www.stillhead.com

Either side of this is the usual blend of new releases and big vibes featuring D.K., Mushroom Project, Com Truise, J-Walk and many more.

Big-up CT for the boss artwork: [email protected]

After a hiatus FYE Midlands was back and like 2014 and 2015 I was fortunate to play alongside a great bunch of selectors and musicians.

The venue this time was The Maze (in Nottingham) and was part of the 13th birthday party for Soul Buggin' featuring one of my top 3 DJs: Alex Barck. He blew the roof off and luckily for me I was on an hour before he started.

So this 30 minute mix is my take of a warm-up, featuring the New Seeds flavour of electronica. I hope you enjoy it and get a sense of the night.

Big thanks to Soul Buggin' aka Beane, Elmo, Mark and Wrighty!

This is the live recording of the October 2017 edition of New Seeds, the show dedicated to electronic and electronically inspired and influenced music.

Either side of this is the usual blend of new releases and deep vibes featuring Zola Domain, waterfront dining, Sense and many more.

This is the live recording of the August edition of New Seeds, the show dedicated to electronic and electronically influenced music.

I am super-stoked to have in my view, one of the very best DJs around - picko-d - present an exclusive guest mix (starts at 40:50). It features a number of exclusive unreleased tracks with his trademark classic down-tempo gems. Either side of his mix you'll hear the usual mix of brand new electronic releases and complimentary vibes, including Pye Corner Audio and Ruf Dug.

This is the live recording of the special one year anniversary edition of New Seeds, the show dedicated to electronic and electronically inspired and influenced music.

To celebrate, the show is a dedication and tribute to Boards of Canada. Simply put, to me they represent everything electronic music is and can be; they are the music makers.

The show contains music across their back catalogue, taking in remixes, appearances, (rumoured / supposed appearances), covers, bootlegs, rips and more including some of the source samples and other related inspirations.

The music starts at 01:11 and doesn't stop till the end :-)

Big love to Charles for the brilliant artwork: [email protected]

Leaving you with one very important thought: BUY THEIR MUSIC!
