Today kid's church and big church collide for our annual Family Service! We wanted to give you a taste of how much fun we have in kids' church every Sunday. Our children's pastor, Kaylee Barker, will be sharing her heart for kids' ministry and the wonder of starting a journey with Jesus. New Song Kids' Ministry volunteers and staff are dedicated to seeing that each child is welcomed into a safe environment and known by a trustworthy leader that helps them experience the love of Jesus

Ben Malcolmson joins us today! Ben is entering his sixth season as special assistant to Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll. Prior to moving to the Northwest, Ben served in a similar role under Carroll for three at USC, where he also played one storybook season as a walk-on receiver for the Trojan football program. AS a reporter for the student newspaper, Ben tried out for the team to write a feature article about walk-ons, and he ended up surprising himself and countless others by making the team! A native of Dallas, Ben now lives in a suburb of Seattle and enjoys spending his free time on one of his biggest passions - mentoring young people through Young Life and FCA.

his weekend we have special quest Lowell Hochalter with us. Lowell has spoken to over one million students on almost every subject imaginable. His story of death shows his vulnerability as a human being and his fortitude as a follower of Jesus Christ. Lowell Has a passion to affect the lives of all whom he encounters. As a coach, public speaker, counselor, and modern day abolitionist, he jumps in with his whole self!

This weekend we have our Foursquare District Supervisor, Dave Veach, with us. He and his wife Windy live in Tacoma, a short distance from the District office. Dave and Windy have been pastors for decades, during which time they raised three children, Chad, Bethany and Kyle. They are the proud grandparents to six grandbabies with more on the way.

This weekend we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus! This is the greatest event in a Christ follower's calendar, but more than that, it is the centerpiece of all history! This single event has made a way for us to be free from the curse of sin and set us on a course full of life and purpose. The empty cross and tomb remind us that God's love and power are able to intervene in our lives so we can be all that He created us to be! Have you received it? Are you growing in it? There's no better time than Easter!

Today, we have Teen Challenge with us! They will be sharing a message of hope and testimonies of overcoming addiction and struggles. North Dakota Teen Challenge offers professional, Christ-centered recovery principles for complete freedom from the bondage of drugs and alcohol problems. They are strong advocates for addicts ages 18-80 wanting to achieve a drug-free life. They work with churches and organizations across the state to bring their message of hope and healing, providing a last chance for many people to get the help that they so desperately need.

Today, Glen Keller, a member of the Pulpit Group at New Song will continue our Gone Fishin' series. He will be sharing about how to affect those around us with our story and an authentic display of faith. Glen is part of the newly formed Pulpit Group at New Song which is designed to raise up and equip preachers to facilitate the multiplication of the Kingdom. Glen has a desire to teach others about Jesus and plans to one day become a pastor.

Today Lance Moerickle will be sharing his heart on how it's important to show love to others even when it's not easy. Lance is part of the newly formed Pulpit Group at New Song which is designed to raise up and equip preachers to facilitate the multiplication of the Kingdom. The Lord called Lance at an early age to use his voice in spreading the Gospel. He has a hear to teach and spread the Word of God.

George Cline stops by to tell us a little about his global perspective on missions both locally and abroad. George works for Foursquare Missions International (FMI) as a Representative. His role is connecting pastors and mission leaders in local US churches.

Today Auston Biles will be sharing his heart on how suffering can lead to hope. In 2011, Auston accepted Jesus into his life, and from that moment forward, he has felt the Lord calling him to use his gifts to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ. He is part of the newly formed Pulpit Group at New Song that is designed to raise up preachers that are equipped to facilitate the multiplication of the Kingdom.
