Politics? Wrestling? Art Workshops?
We got it all covered on this week's episode of New Theory Radio.
First off host Nav Nanwa is joined by two representatives/affiliates of Vision Brampton - Kamika Sylvester and Anmol Dhalla. Vision Brampton is an advocacy group encouraging young people in the city of Brampton to exercise their democratic power. The three of them kick the show off 'theorizing' about the following:
- Civic Youth Engagement: Youth between the ages 18-24 will be the largest voting block in the upcoming election but poll results are always low. Why is that and how do we change that?
- The 'Young' Vote: Because youth will be the largest voting block in the upcoming election, what are the best ways for politicians to reach them, and what are the worst ways?
Then, Nav recaps his busy Summerslam weekend, as he was able to conduct a bunch of interviews with numerous WWE talents. These individuals included Trish Stratus, Matt Hardy, Robert Roode, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville and Buddy Murphy. Topics and theories discussed were reinventing yourself, legacy ,and pro wrestling inclusivity.
Lastly, he closes the show chatting with Ren Thomas, who is a previous New Theory Radio alum and a visual artist. He joins the show to chat about his upcoming Life Drawing event.
