New To Weeaboo

Welcome to episode 43! And we're continuing the Madoka talk with Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story. It's a spinoff of Madoka Magica, and it has its share of fans... and detractors. It was also based on a gacha game. That's no longer available in North America. Check it out on Crunchyroll or Funimation.

Episode 42 is here! And we're looking at another classic anime, Puella Magi Madoka Magica! There's a lot to talk about. So much that this is our longest episode so far. Tragedy, misdirection, animation, and more. And of course, we also talked about Rebellion. Beware of a lot of mispronunciation. You can watch Madoka Magica on Crunchyroll, Funimation, Netflix, Hulu, and probably elsewhere. As for Rebellion... good luck!

Hey everyone, it's time for episode 41! This time around, we go back to the late 80s, so that we can go to the far off future of 2033. It's Bubblegum Crisis! The original series. A cyberpunk future in which robots with very funny names are the main enemy. Check it out on RetroCrush.

Welcome to episode 40! Considering Valentine's Day is right around the corner, we figured we'd take a look at rom-com. And we chose MY love STORY!! Nemesis and Alca7raz had a fun time with this one, mostly because of the improbably large Takeo. Check it out on Crunchyroll!

Episode 39 has arrived! A new season of anime has begun, so Nemesis and Alca7raz take a look at 4 random choices. And this time around, our random choices were kind of... weak. There's figure skating, angels, gamers, and bad cg to watch.

The anime this season were Skate-Leading Stars, Heaven's Design Team, Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki, and Scar On The Praeter.

Episode 38 is here! In it, Nemesis and Alca7raz make another trip into idol hell. Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is the third Love Live anime, and it changes things up a bit. Like a completely different animation studio, for one! Oh and the fact that they're not a single group but 9 separate solo idols. Well. Check it out on Crunchyroll.

Time for episode 37! Nemesis and Alca7raz look at a 15 year old somewhat obscure anime, Kashimashi: Girl Meets Girl. Why this? Because it's special to Nemesis. Got the ball rolling on her figuring things out. Oh, it's also a yuri rom-com. With space aliens! If you want to watch it... RetroCrush has added it to their library!

Welcome to episode 36! Nemesis and Alca7raz took a look at Yuru Camp. It's a feel-good fun time. With a lot of great characters to boot. So grab a blanket and check it out on Crunchyroll (also check out the side series Room Camp).

Time for episode 35! This time it's the fairly recent "My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!" That's a mouthful. Which is probably why it's often shortened to HameFura. Anyway, it's a reverse harem isekai. And it's quite endearing! Catch it on Crunchyroll.

Welcome to episode 34! In this one, Nemesis and Alca7raz talk about Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. As many know, it's a crude sex comedy that is now 10 years old. And while it's often funny, there are definitely some bits which haven't aged well (and to be honest, weren't great to begin with). You can check it out on Funimation.
