New To Weeaboo

Episode 33 has arrived! Nemesis and Alca7raz once again take a look at four random anime from the new season. Quite the variety going on here. A heist, a crush, rap battles, and rock wall climbing. Some are good, some are okay, and some are just weird.

The anime watched were Akudama Drive, Adachi and Shimamura, Hypnosis Mic: Division Rap Battle - Rhyme Anima, and Iwakakeru - Sport Climbing Girls.

Episode 32 is here! This time around, Nemesis and Alca7raz talk about School-Live!, aka Gakkou Gurashi. One should probably go into it as blind as possible, but just know things definitely aren't as they seem... Check it out on Crunchyroll.

Welcome to episode 31! Nemesis and Alca7raz found an old horror anime called Lily C.A.T. to watch. Something about the movie feels kind of familiar... Actually a lot of things about it do. Almost as if it's very similar to another movie. Check it out on RetroCrush.

Time for episode 30! Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid is what Nemesis and Alca7raz are talking about this time. There's a lot to like about it. But... there's some parts that are kinda... well, gross. They get into all of that. Check it out on Crunchyroll.

Episode 29 is here! Nemesis and Alca7raz go way, way back in the past in this one. It's actually the oldest anime we've covered so far. Namely, the original Mobile Suit Gundam from 1979. Kind of. They actually watched the 3 compilation movies that were made in the early 80s. And in many ways, they definitely show their age. Check them out on YouTube.

Welcome to episode 28! In this, Nemesis and Alca7raz take a look at Hinamatsuri, an anime that came out a couple of years ago. Honestly, it's a pretty fun time, and now they both want to check out the manga. How about that. Check it out on Crunchyroll.

Episode 27, coming in hot! In this one, Nemesis and Alca7raz once again pick 4 random anime from the new season. And those picks sure were... something. And one of them apparently has developed quite the discourse around it (that we were unaware of)! The summer 2020 anime picked were Rent-a-Girlfriend, Monster Girl Doctor, Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!, and Lapis: ReLiGHTs.

Time for episode 26! Nemesis and Alca7raz return to the world of school idols, with a look at Love Live! Sunshine. A new school, a new group, and the same fun. But possibly a bit refined. Check it out on Crunchyroll or Funimation.

Welcome to episode 25! Nemesis and Alca7raz talk about an anime that's a pretty big deal: Cowboy Bebop. There's a lot one can say about it, and they only have an hour. There's so much to like about it. The characters, the world, the stories, THE MUSIC... it's fantastic. Check it out on Crunchyroll.

Episode 24 is here, and we're covering something we've wanted to talk about for literal months: PROMARE! Yes, the the Trigger movie that came out in 2019. Nemesis and Alca7raz adore this movie, and they'll talk about why. Seriously, go check it out.
