The first presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump is set for Tuesday on ABC at 9:00 p.m. ET. Two days later, Harris and her running mate, Gov. Tim Walz, are launching the "New Way Forward" tour across key battleground states. Harris will visit North Carolina, followed by Pennsylvania, while Walz will travel through Michigan and Wisconsin.

The campaign aims to highlight the stark contrast between Harris and Walz's vision for the future and Trump's Project 2025 plan. Top surrogates include Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff and Minnesota First Lady Gwen Walz. They'll also hit the trail in other swing states like Nevada and Georgia.

The campaign will also roll out a new ad titled "New Way Forward."

"I'll lower the cost of insulin and prescription drugs for everyone, and I will work to pass the first-ever federal ban on price gouging on food," Harris proclaims in the new ad, which will air in eight battleground states and focus on middle-class issues.

With early voting starting soon, the Harris-Walz team plans a massive push to engage voters across the airwaves, online, and at in-person events.
