It's a celebration! New NEW Champion Evan Rivers joins us on Wrestle Nation this week, and we couldn't be happier to have him. We talk about his epic title win at Nat Bailey Stadium at NEW 8. We also discuss how his NEW Year 1 has gone, some of his favourite matches, and his upcoming title defence at the Commodore Ballroom at the NEW 1st Anniversary show! Then we get into the wide world of wrestling and discuss Johnny Gargano's return to WWE, Clash at the Castle, CM Punk vs. John Moxley and the ongoing drama and unpredictability in the AEW locker room (which, to be clear, we have no access to) 

Hey yo! The C+ players are back to discuss another super busy week in the world of professional wrestling. We talk hype levels for NEW's Basebrawl at Nat Bailey Stadium (August 20th) and just how cool it is to see a show there. Also covering the return of Kevin Owens, The Return of Karrion Kross, The Return of Dexter Lumis, the (potential) returns of Sasha Banks, Naomi and Bray Wyatt and background angles. On the AEW side, we talk CM Punk's return, his foot, HBO Dynamite sponsorship crossovers, the AEW trios bracket, Ricky Starks' taunt and the lesser requested versions of Chris Jericho. All that plus we play a little "Push or Bury" and take a look at what happened this week in wrestling history!

We are back to break down the week that was in pro wrestling. From a pretty major (July) Summerslam to the first post PPV Raw of the Triple H era, there was actually a lot of WWE to get into. Logan Paul being actually really good, The Miz's value being off the charts, Ciampa getting a huge showcase, Brock vs. Roman Part 7 being actually incredible, Bayley's new stable of badass women and who should dethrone Roman. On the AEW side we talk Dynamite, Undisputed Elite turning on the Young Bucks, Jericho/Yuta, Taz pulling the plug on Team Taz and we walk back our opinion (one of us) on the All-Atlantic title. We also chat the latest announcement for NEW Anniversary show (Maki Itoh!!) and all the fantasy matchups with the homegrown NEW talent stepping up against the rest of the Independent wrestling scene. Hey yo! The unthinkable happened and Vince McMahon finally hung em up and retired from WWE. We talk about his complicated legacy, Triple H taking over, Kevin being Dunn, Summerslam and a lot more WWE than we usually talk about. Seismic shifts in the industry will do that. We also chat some AEW, CM Punk's injury, Wardlow cooling off, Claudio winning the ROH title, the crowded women's division, bastard Christian and the company's many many titles. We also discuss the fallout from NEW 4 Life and look ahead to the Nat Bailey stadium show Basebrawl (ft. Main Event Evan Rivers!)

It's been a huge news week for NEW, as the announcement was just made that the historic Commodore Ballroom will be home to NEW monthly events through 2023. Massive, MASSIVE excitement for that venue to be the NEW home of wrestling in the lower mainland. We talk about that, as well as old school Surrey landmarks, Edge getting kicked out of Judgement Day for Finn Balor, Roman Reigns being an absentee champion, Mox vs. Kyle O'Reilly, CM Punk's injury, Wardlow's TNT title chase (and match against 20 dudes), Hangman Page/Adam Cole/Okada/Jay White intrigue, the upcoming triangle ladder match for the AEW tag team titles, the 2008 classic film/song "The Wrestler" and the necessity of the All Atlantic Championship in AEW. 

We back and here to break down the huge shows last weekend from both the "EW's" that are near and dear to our hearts: NEW 7 and AEW: Double or Nothing. We talk match results from NEW's first foray into Coquitlam, as well as look ahead to some massive matchups coming up at NEW 4Life on June 24th at the Commodore Ballroom. We also talk about the latest AEW PPV offering, and MJF's pipebomb, Wardlow's music, the state of the AEW women's division, Old Joe, Blood and Guts, the use of mustard as a weapon and the shocking news that CM Punk has vacated the AEW title. On the WWE side, we're talking NXT 2.0, people losing their names and Vince losing his mind.

With just under a week to go until NEW 6, we make a few final predictions as Wyatt Arndt returns to the show. We also talk about NEW's newly announced Cinco De Mayo show at the Commodore Ballroom on May 5th. Outside of that, it's a purely Wrestlemania centric show for the C+ players. We talk historical Manias, favourite matches, moments and memories (as well as what it's like to attend Wrestlemania live!). We also break down the card for Wrestlemania 38, play a little Push or Bury and Bow vs. Paris in a Wrestlemania quiz!

Less than two weeks from NEW 6 and we just can't decide who we think is going to win the Canadian Gauntlet match or the NEW Women's title match. It's a debate that will rage on until April 7th. We also do an AEW Dynamite deep dive, talking Punk's title aspirations, the Jericho Appreciation Society gimmick vs. members, Moxley/Danielson/Regal's crew getting a name, Julia Hart being the next Alexa Bliss, Wardlow's contract, MJF's fake tanner and a wild Jay Lethal appearing.
