Note from poet Mary Lenox.This poem is significant to me since my sister, Doris Washington, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024. She was 86 years. Doris and I talked on Saturday, and my other sister, Trueannie Oaddams, talked with Doris on Sunday morning as they did every day for 20 years.
