“I feel great and am in the best health of my life” says Frank Davis, Founder of Optivida Nutrition. But that wasn’t always the case. Frank’s childhood was filled with ailments and in his early forties he was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. That set him on a course of discovery, which ultimately led to his recovery and was the catalyst to founding his company Optivida. Frank researched all options –medical and nutritional.  The turning point was at a symposium entitled “Foods as a Medicine” where he found the medical and scientific evidence that nutrition was the key to health. The presenters at the conference were top university PhD researchers in field of health and wellness. They showed overwhelming evidence linking virtually every known disease, illness, cancer, etc. to some form of dietary deficiency.  As he tried to fix his own nutrition needs, Frank learned quickly of the compromised quality of the United States’ food supply.  He learned that our foods are grown in nutrient deficient soils, treated with toxic herbicides, pesticides, fungicides and are transported thousands of miles over weeks before arriving at our homes.  Reports Frank read, validated that the food we eat today has only a fraction of the nutrition of the same foods grown 70 years ago and he concluded that it was nearly impossible to get full nutrition from the United States’ food supply.He has since fully recovered and engages in a variety of sports such as racquetball, biking and weight training just to name a few.
