In this Friday sports edition of ‘Will Cain Country,’ Will and The Crew bring you the top sports stories of the week:
Story 1: The first College Football Playoff committee rankings are out, and as always, the results didn’t please everybody. Will and The Crew see where they stand on the rankings and debate whether Notre Dame deserves to be above the Texas Longhorns.
Story 2: It’s easy to rank football teams by performance, but there is one metric that has been ignored for far too long: celebrity support. Will and The Crew put together their own ranking of NFL teams by celebrity fanbase and try to figure out which ones are true fans or just bandwagoners.
Story 3: Tuesday saw the New York Jets have a fire sale at the end of the NFL trade deadline. Will and The Crew react to “Sauce” Gardner heading off to Indianapolis, and debate whether the Cowboys will be better off with Quinnen Williams or Micah Parsons.
