Il fakahānī: misāʾ in-nūr yā hānim

Hālah: law samaḥt, ʿandak fākha ṭāzh?

Il fakahānī: ʾywa , ṭabʿān, kul ḥāgh ʿandī ṭāzh!

Hālah: ʿandak mūz, wi tūffāḥ?

Il fakahānī: ʾywa ʿandī mūz, il kīlū bi 3 ginīh, wi it-tūfāḥ il kīlū bi 12 ginīh.

Hālah: yāāā, it-tūfāḥ il kīlū bi 12? Līh ġālī ʾwī?
