One of the fiercest spiritual battles we will face as believers is the battle against our flesh. We have 3 major enemies according to Ephesians 2 - the world, the devil and the flesh. How do we win this battle-

Jesus identifies Himself for the first time to the churches in Asia Minor. He commends the congregation and then speaks out against a woman with the character traits of Jezebel who was allowed to come into the church and seduce them.

Perilous times are inevitable as prophesied by the apostle Paul to Timothy. How do we get to these perilous times- In this first of a series on the perilous times prophesied by Paul we look at people professing to be believers being lovers of self. This love of self is one of many things Paul prophesies that will cause the perilous times in the last days.

We get to the offensive part of God's armour- -The sword of the Spirit.- Jesus gives us the best example on how the sword of the Spirit is to be used in an encounter with the devil. When Jesus was tempted by the devil, He used the Word of God to attack every attempt of Satan to get power over Jesus. God's word can indeed reach areas in people's lives that nothing else can.
