The way we receive the Gospel does not guarantee lasting spiritual life. Just like the church in Sardis, we are called to hold on to the truth of the Gospel, we should repent if we are living in sin and we should watch - be on our guard as we wait for the second coming of Christ. ---Series on the Book of Revelation no-18-

In Matthew 24 we get a glimpse of how Jesus will return at His second advent. We are told that He will come on the clouds, there will be signs that will be visible before His return and we are told that the tribes of the earth will mourn. What does all of this mean for us and for those who are not saved-
